Shyloe can be alpha and probably should be in a home as either a single dog or with a male. She does get along with females, but will tend to try and run things. She is quite active, likes the dog park, and going on walks. Like most huskies, she will dig and escape if given the opportunity. She loves kids and is great with them. Since she is young she is hi energy. She is good at night when it is bedtime she goes down and sleeps through the night. She is very curious and explores everything (counters, etc!).

I came to Husky Haven at christmas time and I have been getting treatment for a minor case of mange, you can’t even see it anymore!! My foster parents came on a workday and had to take me home because I was talking to them and I am also a handsome boy. I am around 9 months old and have high puppy energy. I am very vocal and will let you know what I think. I am also crate and house trained. Some things that I do for fun are going on long walks, going to the dog park where I swim in the water, playing all day with my foster husky siblings, and chewing my toys. Goals we are working on are positively reinforcing my manners. I love to give kisses and sit with my foster family. We think someone ordered him from a puppy mill and then could not hold onto him because he had never been out of a cage except to collect sperm for breeding. He is very afraid of everything. He does not try to bite but just get away. We have been working with him to try to gain his trust. Anyone that gets him would have to be very careful never to let him get loose. He is about 15 lbs and very cute. He had a microchip that was implanted in Davis CA but never registered by his new family. We have had several inquires about him but we are looking for a special home. His adoption fee is $300.00 He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm neg.

I sleep in my crate and I am house trained too. To get brushed is okay but I really love it when I get rubbed tight behind my ears. I always get excited to meet new people and like to give hugs too. I also am super gentle with kids and will give the occasional kiss. I am also really good at sitting and laying down when asked.

Getting brushed is okay but I prefer to get my belly and my back rubbed. I always get excited to meet new people and like to meet new doggie friends.

She gets along very well with other dogs and does amazing with kids. The most she could do is lick you to death. We are currently learning manners and have improved very well the last few days. She is a very active dog and would love to run around in a backyard or go for long walks. Gyla tends to get excited around new people so older kids or kids that are use to dogs would be a great home for this girl.
