2002 Houston Humane Mutt Strut

We had a blast at this years Mutt Strut (even though it was raining). There were lots of Siberian Huskies there and we made many new husky friends. Cyndi and her two rescued Siberians, Sasha and Fox, won the costume contest after the Mutt Strut. They were some very cute Hippies!!

On the Left is Ritter and Sasha. Ritter has recently been adopted out! On the right are some of the new Siberian friends we made. They are the Cutest! Both of them were rescued from the pound by their owner. She just wanted one dog but could not leave the other one there.

Here on the left is Ritter and friends and on the right is Fox. He wanted to keep his feet dry.

Look at all of those Siberians going to town!

Even though it was wet and rainy we still had fun!! Sasha thought she was not wet enough and jumped right into the fountain before she could be stopped.

< b>It was a hard decision for the judges but Fox and Sasha won first place in the costume contest in a tie breaker with a Convict Saint Bernard.

Selena (on the right) even came out for a visit. Selena is the puppy that had two broken legs. She is getting around just fine now.
