He thinks he is a couch dog but we are trying to change that. When we are sitting down he comes and lays on our feet . I'm not sure if he does that to keep our feet warm or to prevent us from getting up and moving away from him . If you stop petting him you get a strong scratch on your leg from him to let you know he is still there . He gives kisses all the time and often wakes my daughter up by a few licks across her arm or face . All in all he is a great dog . He will never be a guard dog because he loves everyone that stops by . He might lick them to death but that would be it . My Foster Mom says that my photo says all that you need to know about my personality. I’m a happy, sunny, energetic dog who loves the world. I’ve had a rough start and had to have some surgery to get me ready for adoption, but even with the stitches I have been unstoppable. I was found in November 2012, and my paperwork says I am 3 years old. FM thinks I’m younger. And I must be pretty young because sometimes, I get the zoomies and run around in circles, or up & down the stairs. I love stairs! And people! I also like hanging around outside and trying to get my foster siblings to play. I’m crate & house trained. I’m a wooly coat, so I will need extra grooming attention, but that’s why I am so handsome. FM says my only flaw is that I snap, but not at people or other dogs. I just like to snap my teeth together occasionally which apparently makes some people nervous. My foster mommy says I have made great progress in walking slower on my walks, I am working on trusting more, and as long as I have plenty of toys, rawhides, and Dynamite Bones I don’t chew anything else! LANNY	WAYNE
From: Sex: Male               Age:  Years Coat: Black & White Eye Color: Blue House: Crate: yes Location: Houston      NOTES: We have had the pleasure of fostering Lanny for a couple of weeks and although he was a little nervous at first, he quickly started to show his true colors around the house. He is always so full of positive energy, making it such a joy to come home to a happy face and a wagging tail. He will welcome every chance for a cuddle or play session with you, unless it involves a vacuum or a blow dryer (he thinks they are monsters and they scare him a bit). He loves going for long walks and meeting other dogs; he will get along with any dog that he sees. I can’t stress enough how sweet and loving Lanny is. He is energetic and loves to play with his toys and chew on his bone. He is a dog with a personality and will have you laughing all the time. We think he is between 8 months and 1 year old. Lanny is also crate trained. Lanny is looking for his forever home with a family that will keep him inside with them and a nice backyard for him to run around in. He will grow to be one of the most loving dogs out there, and will also be a wonderful addition to a family with children as he is a true lover that wouldn’t harm a fly. On any day, with his calm disposition, Wayne is likely to be found lazing around on the soft carpet but will welcome playtime whenever the opportunity presents itself. The best part of Wayne’s day is probably breakfast and dinner time; he loves his dog food. He also loves long walks and is great on the leash. He always gets so excited when he hears the leash rattle as we pick it up because he knows he is about to be outside sniffing around. Wayne is also crate trained. Wayne is very loyal and will be by your side any time he can. He needs a forever home where he can be loved on and he will show you equal affection in return.
